Pelpa is built on a simple principle: your family's information belongs to your family. This policy explains how Pelpa handles data — which is, in almost every case, by not collecting it at all.

All content you create in Pelpa — how-to guides, health profiles, contacts, admin records, handbook details, fridge board notes — is stored exclusively on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data is never transmitted to any server, never uploaded to the cloud, and never accessible to us.
No account is created when you use Pelpa. We have no way to identify you, and we hold no record of you or your household's information.
Pelpa optionally uses Face ID or Touch ID to lock the app. This is handled entirely by Apple's LocalAuthentication framework. Biometric data never leaves your device and is never accessible to Pelpa or to us.
Pelpa Pro subscriptions are processed by Apple via the App Store and managed through RevenueCat. When you make a purchase, Apple and RevenueCat process your payment information. We receive only a confirmation that a purchase was made — no payment details, card numbers, or billing addresses are shared with us.

Pelpa contains no analytics, no tracking, no advertising SDKs, and no third-party data collection of any kind beyond RevenueCat for subscription management.
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with any third party.
The only third-party service Pelpa uses is RevenueCat, solely for processing in-app subscription purchases.
Pelpa is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
Pelpa does not use iCloud sync. However, your device's standard iOS backup (iCloud Backup or iTunes/Finder backup) may include Pelpa's local data as part of your device backup. This is controlled entirely by your iOS backup settings.
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to retrieve, correct, or delete on your behalf. All data is on your device — you can delete it at any time by deleting the app.
